What would you think, Anders, if you knew Hawke still imagines you smiling?

And uh, everyone else there! (THAT WORKS OUT GREAT BY THE WAY.) Hawke, you better be one of a kind, because every other mage in the world is a fuckup. I'm sorry.

Malcolm teachin' Bethany how to use magic... how nice of him.

I wanted Anders to look really crazy fried/starved at this point (poor guy ), but unfortunately, he sort of just came out looking like Dr. House instead. (GET ME MY VICODINS IT'S THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES JUSTICE GO AWAY.)

Malcolm had arm hair because he was a MAN. A manly, hairy man. Why the hell didn't your son get any? When Hawke takes off his shirt, he looks precious girly smooth.

Also, Bethany gets different hair since her normal hair seems too... styled, you know?

This page kinda... whatever. I always have a hard time drawing characters I haven't really drawn before. It takes me a while to get comfortable with them in my style, and I definitely have not drawn Anders and Merrill enough yet. But this will help! (Also it's another one of those "get me to the next one, it's the next one I want to doooo!" pages so... it has suffered accordingly.) Also it's like... gah. Artist curse. If I'm drawing people I'm like "waahhh I wish I were doing backgrounds" and when I'm doing backgrounds I'm like "WAAHHHHHH why am I doing these stupid backgrounds; I want to do people." Fussy, fussy.

It took me a long long long time to figure out how to FIT all these people onto one page in a logical and non-stupid way without it being crowded. I think it works okay. I'm excited to do the next page though. CONFLICT, IT IS MY NECTAR.
